Messaging channels

Device messaging
For most client messaging, Bobclass uses the messaging apps already installed on your device — email, SMS, or WhatsApp. When a message needs to be sent, Bobclass opens the relevant app with the message pre-filled and the recipient ready. You review and send.
The default messaging channel is set per device in Settings → Messaging. This means that if you use Bobclass on multiple devices — for example an iPhone and an iPad — each device can have a different default channel. This is by design, as it uses the native capabilities of each device.
Automatic messages
Some messages are sent automatically by Bobclass without any action required from you:
  • Booking confirmations — sent when a client books online, or when you add a client to a session manually
  • Reminders — sent before a session starts (see below)
