Email footer

Email footer

The email footer is the block that appears at the bottom of the emails Bobclass sends on your behalf — your logo, your studio name, your address and your website. It is what turns an automated confirmation into something that looks like it came from your studio.
Set it up in Settings → Messaging → Email footer.

Where it appears

The footer is added to the automated emails sent from our servers — booking confirmations and reminders.
It is not added to messages you send yourself through your own mail app, WhatsApp or SMS, since those go out from your device rather than from Bobclass. See  Messaging channels .

Setting it up

Enable turns the footer on. Everything below only matters once it is on.
Logo — switch on to include your logo, then choose:
  • Position — above, below, left or right of your contact details
  • Alignment — start, centre or end
  • Size — a slider, in pixels
Contact details is a rich text box. You can set bold, italic, underline and strikethrough, change text and highlight colours, and add links. Most studios use their studio name, town, and a link to their website.
Preview at the bottom shows exactly what a client will see, updating as you type. Use it — a footer that looks balanced in the editor can sit oddly once the logo is beside it.

Worth getting right

This footer goes out on every confirmation and every reminder, which for a busy studio is the most-seen piece of writing you produce. It is worth a few minutes with the preview open.
Keep it short. A name, a location and one link does more than a full address block, and it reads better on a phone, where most clients will see it.
