Self check-in

Self check-in

Self check-in is designed to speed up arrivals for group classes. The idea is a tablet at the entrance of your studio, left open on the Self check-in screen, so clients check themselves in as they arrive.
To open it, tap Self check-in in the  Day view .

What clients see

The screen lists the expected participants for the session. Each one is shown by first name and the initial of their surname — "Anna B." — so names are recognisable without putting your whole client list on display at the door.
Next to each name is their active package, either a Class Pack or a Membership.

Checking in

The client taps the switch next to their name. That single tap marks their attendance and checks them out against their active package.
If a client has no active package, there is nothing to check them out against — you will need to handle that one yourself from the session view, where you can sell them a pack, use someone else's, or not charge. See  Attendance and checkout .

Someone without a booking

A client who arrives without having booked can be added from the same screen with Add walk-in. See  Walk-ins .
Self check-in works for both classes and appointments, but it is aimed at group classes, where several people arrive at once and speed matters most.
