Rescheduling a session

Rescheduling a session

Moving a session to a different time or day is done from the session itself, and Bobclass will tell the clients booked into it for you.

How to reschedule

Tap the session in the calendar to open Event details .
Tap the blue Date and time link.
The Reschedule window opens, with two tabs:
  • Hours — alternative start times on the same day. Your current slot is marked with an asterisk, so you can see what you are moving from.
  • Days — a month calendar for moving the session to a different date.
Choose the new slot, then Save .
    Submit the change.
The selected date and time is shown at the bottom of the window as you go, so you can check it before saving.

Changing the time intervals

By default the Hours tab offers slots every 15 minutes. If that is too coarse or too fine, use the filter at the bottom of the window — where it says Start time — and choose 5, 10, 15, 30 or 60 minutes.
A 5-minute interval is useful for nudging a session slightly to clear a clash. An hourly interval is quicker when you are moving something across the day.
This interval only affects the Reschedule window. It is separate from Segments for appointments in Settings → Online booking → Booking rules, which controls the start times clients are offered when booking. See  Setting when clients can book .

The whole session moves

Rescheduling moves the session itself, so everyone booked into it moves with it. To take one client out while leaving the session where it is, see  Adding or removing a client across a series of sessions .

What your clients are told

Once you submit, the clients booked into the session are told about the change — provided your Rescheduling template is switched on in Settings → Messaging.
How the message reaches them depends on the channel you have set: email, SMS, WhatsApp, or your device's share sheet. See  Messaging channels  and  Message templates .
If the template is turned off, the session moves silently and telling your clients is on you. Worth checking before you move something with eight people in it.
