Adding or removing a client across a series of sessions
Adding or removing a client across a series of sessions
A client wants the same Tuesday morning slot for the next ten weeks, or is going away for three of them. Either way you should not have to open ten sessions one at a time. Both jobs can be done across a whole series — a set, a run, a block of weeks — in one go.
Adding a client
There are two routes, and which is quicker depends on how you know which sessions you mean.
From Overview, when you know the sessions
Use this when you can describe them: every Tuesday Reformer class until Christmas, all of next month's Morning Flow.
Go to Overview → Upcoming bookings .
Use the filters to narrow the list down — by activity, day, instructor, or date range.
Select the sessions.
Tap Add client and choose the client.
The filters are what make this quick. Filtering by activity and day gets you to "every Reformer class on a Tuesday" in two taps, and a date range keeps it to the weeks you actually mean.
From a client profile, when you mean "the same as hers"
Use this when a friend, partner or colleague wants to join someone who is already booked. You do not need to work out which sessions those are — you start from the person who has them.
Open the client who is already booked , in Clients .
Go to Upcoming bookings .
Select the sessions the other person should join.
Add the second client to them.
This is the one for "my friend wants to come along to the same classes as me". Working from Overview you would have to reconstruct her schedule by hand; here it is already in front of you.
Removing a client
Removing works from one place only: the client's own profile. There is no equivalent in Overview.
Open the client in Clients .
Go to Upcoming bookings .
Select the sessions they should come out of.
Tap Delete .
You are then asked what you actually mean:
Remove the client from the sessions — they come off the list, the sessions carry on for everyone else. This is the default, and almost always what you want.
Delete the sessions entirely — the sessions themselves are removed.
Those two are very different. Deleting the sessions removes them for every client booked into them, not just this one. If a client is going on holiday, you want the first option.
What the client is told
One message, not one per session. Bobclass collates the whole selection into a single note listing every session the client has been taken out of.
So removing someone from eight weeks of Tuesdays does not fill their inbox with eight separate cancellations — worth knowing before you tap Delete on a long selection.
Credits
Adding a client to ten sessions does not take ten credits off their Class Pack, and removing them does not lose credits either.
A credit comes off when you check the client out after a session, so a standing booking costs nothing until they attend. If a credit was already taken — because you use Require product to book — removing the booking undoes that checkout and returns it. See Attendance and checkout.
Setting up a new series
If the sessions do not exist yet, do it the other way round: create the first session, add the client to it, then repeat it. When you repeat a session you can carry the enrolled clients across to every instance. See Repeating sessions.
