Calendar views

Calendar views

The calendar opens in week view by default. You can switch between week and day view at any time.

The top row

In week view, the controls along the top row are:
  • Day span — switch between a 3, 5 or 7 day view. Useful on a phone, where seven days at once can be cramped.
  • Reset — jump the view back to today after scrolling ahead or back.
  • Refresh — reload the calendar immediately. Bobclass updates by itself, but if you have just made a change on another device this fetches it now rather than waiting.
  • Instructor selector — filter the calendar down to a single instructor. If sessions seem to be missing, check this first; it is the most common reason.
  • Settings (cog) — the display options below.

Customising the calendar display

Use the settings (cog) icon in the top row to adjust:
  • Time format — 12 or 24 hour
  • Visible hours — a slider to set the viewport, for example 8 AM to 8 PM, so you only see the hours relevant to your studio
  • Cell size — how large each time block appears
  • Grid — snap intervals of 15 minutes, 30 minutes, or 1 hour. This controls how dense the calendar looks and where new events snap to when you tap to create them
  • Session details — choose what is displayed inside each session block: Participants, Instructor, Location, and/or Comment
The calendar display settings are device-specific and do not affect users logged in to the same account on other devices.

Day view

Day view is a focused list of everything scheduled for one day. Where week view is for planning, day view is for running the studio — checking clients in, tracking attendance and handling walk-ins. See  Day view .
Note that events imported from your device's own calendar appear in week view only. See  Calendar integration .
