A Location is an attribute you set on a class or appointment to say where it's held — a room, a studio name, or a full address. It's shown to clients on the booking page and in Bobclass Go, so they know where to turn up.
Setting up locations
Locations are defined in Settings → Studio → Locations. Add as many as your studio uses — one per room, or one per physical site if you run more than one.
Default location per device
If you mostly use the same location, set it as your default so it's prefilled whenever you create a session. Like Travel mode and your calendar display settings, this is a per-device setting — set it separately on each device you schedule from. See Time zone and Travel mode.
Preferred location for a client
A client's profile can also carry a preferred location, alongside their preferred activity. This is especially handy for one-to-one work — tutoring or music lessons are the typical case — where the same client always meets in the same room with the same instructor.
Start creating a session from the calendar and select the client before touching any other field, and both their preferred activity and preferred location are pulled in and prefilled automatically — no need to set them by hand each time. See Creating a session and Client profiles explained.
