What team members see

Bobclass Team shows an instructor their own teaching, and the people in it. It does not show them your business. This article is the full picture, so you can answer the question every instructor asks before they install it — and the one every owner asks before they enable it.

What a team member can do

  • See their own calendar. Week and day views, filtered to the sessions they teach, with the names of the clients enrolled.
  • Take attendance. Mark each participant as attended or no-show.
  • Check clients out. Deduct a credit from the client's Class Pack, or check them out against an active Membership.
  • Sell a product at checkout. If a client's Class Pack has run out mid-checkout, the instructor can sell them a new pack or Membership there and then, so the checkout can complete. This is the only place selling is available to them.
  • Create, edit and repeat sessions. Add a session to the calendar, change the details of an existing one, or repeat it onto other dates.

What a team member cannot see

  • Your Overview — bookings, sales, payments, invoices and receipts across all clients
  • Your full client list , and client profiles beyond the participants in their own sessions
  • Billing on a client — sales, payments, invoices and receipts
  • Settings — your studio setup, products, payments, online booking, messaging and everything else
  • Your Inbox — booking requests from clients come to you, not to them
In short: they can run a class, but they cannot see what your studio earns.

Instructors who work at more than one studio

Bobclass Team is built for instructors who teach in several places. Each studio enables the same email address independently, and the instructor uses one app across all of them.

Approving bookings

Booking requests always come to you in Bobclass Studio Manager, even for a session an instructor created. If you want known clients to be booked in without waiting for you, turn off Requires approval in Settings → Online booking — see  How online booking works .

Giving a partner full access

Bobclass Team is not the way to give a co-owner or business partner full access to your studio — it is deliberately limited. If you need a second person with the same reach as you, contact us at  support@bobclass.com  and we will talk through the options.
